Prato

A Prato, una bandiera lunga un chilomentro contro le crisi.

Ottomila in piazza a Prato contro la crisi e per chiedere interventi eccezionali contro il declino del distretto del tessile. In duemila hanno sorretto il maxi striscione lungo un chilometro su cui era scritto "Prato non deve chiudere". In testa gli studenti del Biuzzi, l'istituto tecnico ad indirizzo tessile. Per le strade operai e imprenditori hanno sfilato insieme per chiedere di difendere "il vero made in Italy, che siamo noi". Tra i partecipanti anche Xu Qui LIn, fetto Giulin, unico imprenditore cinese iscritto a Confindustria. La manifestazione è stata promossa dal Tavolo del distretto, composto da Provincia e Comune di Prato, Comuni del distretto tessile, Unione industriali, Camera di commercio, Confartigianato, Cna, sindacati e altre associazioni di categoria. Dal 2000 a oggi il diretto tessile pratese ha perso 1.867 imprese e novemila posti di lavoro.
